If you want to hear what everyone was raving about in 1962, come along and sample
the music of the period at it’s raw, earthy best!

In 1963 Britain, and especially Liverpool, was a place where the Rock n’ Roll of
the fifties had been fused with American RnB by the local beat groups, to create
a raw, high-energy brand of music which was honed in sweaty pubs and clubs, such
as The Cavern Club in Liverpool, and The Kaiserkeller in Hamburg. Flashback aim to
re-create those days at the birth of what became known as Mersey Beat, as well as
performing some of the songs made famous by the British bands who “invaded” the USA
in the next few years.
