… Or Viscount Cummerbund of Ever Whingeing, has been playing drums since the early sixties, which has made his arms ache something chronic.
After being a member of several local groups in the sixties, Steve found himself in a band called Snake Eye, touring the country with the likes of Mott The Hoople, wishbone Ash and Status Quo, and releasing an album which was engineered by Andy Johns, engineer to The Stones.
Various stints with name bands such as The Paper Dolls, The Dallas Boys, and Sweet Sensation, and also the
experience of having played at The London Palladium left him knowing all about professionalism, which makes him all the more bewildered to be playing with Flashback...
Speaking of which, it’s not the first time our Steve has had dealings with Flashback; he was, for quite some time, the drummer for the band in one of its many incarnations - he must have loved it so much that he just HAD to do it again!
Anyway, more pictures and info when we can be bothered to sort them out.
Steve’s favourite sayings are: “I’m far too good for this bloody outfit!,” “God, what a cowboy set up!” and “Pizza, Kebab, Burger!”
“I wonder what sound this makes?””
